The property is non-smoking and is set 47 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea. Tony & Jill were wonderful and welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Tony helped carry our suitcase from the car to the studio at the back of the property. The pool and Jacuzzi were a fabulous added bonus. The icing on the cake was the G&T our hosts gave us by the poolside. Outstanding! At the same time we had privacy as the studio is completely seperate from the main house. The Studio is in a wonderfully landscaped garden with a wide range of plants & trees. The accommodation is “compact and bijou”, but has everything you might need. Very cleverly designed. There is outside seating areas with a small table and two chairs to sit & watch tv. At the end of the stay our hosts said we could check out later if we wished. Very relaxed family oriented hosts, who gave us great information about the town, and where to eat and visit etc. Small continental breakfast that was very tasty. We were also given a lovely homemade slice, to have with a cuppa when we arrived as well. 😋 Highly recommended!

On a dead-end street in a quiet neighborhood. All of the rooms were very spacious.

Munchies provided made a wonderful, much-appreciated evening snack as well as morning breakfast. Opening up the suite for me (I arrived after dark) was also much appreciated.

There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. So equipped. This home has everything you need: from spices to board games and beach toys. It feels like you are at your own home. Also very kids friendly. Ive been to a lot of airbnbs and you see some of them are very "commercial" but this one is really "home" with clean bedding. Definitely recommend

Guests staying at this apartment have access to a balcony. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. I have travelled many places, fancy hotels , campsites etc and this villa takes the cake so far as it offers almost everything and more in the space provided. We simply loved everything about it. The host is very inviting. The location is great. Facilities are awesome. If anything, we wish we could’ve stayed longer, had we had known it was going to be this impressive but I’ll definitely be back and possibly with friends.

It felt like a family member was welcoming us home. The place was clean, overlooking lake Taupō. It has good space to spread out! Thank you for the bag of chocolates on our arrival as well!
