I had a room overlooking the volcano, a very good breakfast comes with the view over the river AND they give salmon for breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise! The jacuzzi is well maintained, hot, and again with the view. The location is perfect for beautiful walks around.

El Regalo Resort offers beautiful accommodations, a private beach near by, stunning views of the Gulf of Chiriqui, an infinity pool and a full service restaurant and bar. Beautiful, peaceful place. The food is fantastic. The beach is gorgeous. We'll be back.

The location is amazing, a stunningly beautiful village in the mountains, close to the forest and great hiking trails. The staff were super friendly and couldn't have done more for us. The food was fantastic too... every day there was fresh fruit for breakfast and a salad bar stocked mainly with produce from the hotel's garden. All the food was freshly prepared, and delicious. At the weekend there was a buffet breakfast and during the week it was a la carte. We especially liked the pancakes for breakfast, the soups, home made bread, pizzas and pastas, and the wine selection. Our room was very comfortable, and there were seats on the balcony looking out past the hummingbird feeders (with plentiful birds at all times) to the garden. All in all it was a super relaxing stay, in a beautiful location surrounded by friendly staff and great food.

It’s just beautiful- nestled into the valley - it’s peaceful, serene and relaxing. Our room was perfect. The facilities are great - the gym and pool are fantastic and the restaurant is excellent. As a vegan it was great to have really good food options. Also the staff everywhere were fantastic - in particular Roger, Luis and Hadee on the front desk were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
