Nestled in the mountains, away from all, right on the banks of the Urubamba, whose soothing flow you can hear all through the night. The staff are very courteous, letting us check in several hours early and helping us to make arrangements with taxi drivers etc. as we didn't speak much Spanish. There's an awesome, very cute Rottweiler called Ukuku who keeps wanting to play fetch as well:)

Everything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did.
As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests).
It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean.
Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival.
We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.

The setting of the hotel is wonderful, just off the main square but so peaceful and relaxing. The beautiful gardens with the hammocks offer a great space to relax. It is only a short walk to the main ruins complex. The entrance to the ruins on Pinkuylluna, opposite the main site, are along the same road as the Lodge which was great. Breakfast was excellent the best omelette we had during our stay in Peru. A really lovely place to stay - highly recommended.
The space is great and relaxing! They have a fair price and it is super well located (just one block from the main plaza of the city) All the staff were super sweety to us... Sarit, Gaby, Suly and also the breakfast girls. They rock!
A great stay with outstanding service by the staff. Not luxury but everything was very comfortable, comfy beds, good heating, hot showers, plus lots of little extras like free tea, filtered water, a sunny garden to relax in and the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in Latin America. Highly recommend.
Ideal location 1 minute from the main square. Huge shared area to relax in. Good breakfast with fruit, bread and eggs cooked to order. Staff helpful. Spacious, light room
A very well refurbished old Spanish Colonial villa with lovely courtyard and centrally located in excellent quarter of old Cusco. Room/bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and lazy :-) and the reception staff extremely helpful. A big thank you to Judy for a truly wonderful massage.
This location is actually a working Monastery and school. I saw Nuns and children quietly coming and going in the mornings which was actually a high light for me. This hotel is directly next to The Church of San Pedro and across the street is a large outdoor market with everything you can imagine. A good walking distance to city center, museums, churches and fine dining. Breakfast was good, a nice selection. The massages at the spa were very nice for the price.
The place is amazing with a kitchen and common space. The rooms are super comfortable and the breakfast is also sufficient. We liked the place, because it’s more in a quiet part of the city. We felt very welcomed and stayed longer as we planned because it was very relaxing there.
The location of this hotel is fantastic being just above the main square. It’s set up very similar to a traditional Spanish hotel with rooms around 2 courtyards. It was clean the showers were hot and the breakfasts served by Epi were awsome. I liked the quirkiness of every different room being and oddly shaped. It’s a world away from a business hotel but still manages to deliver a great stay. Ps get ready with your “ No gracias” as you will be offered either a massage or food at least 20* before you hit the main square.
