Set in the Ria Formosa Natural Park this 5-star unit is the only sea front hotel in Quinta do Lago. it feels like home, nice staff and friendly atmosphere, one day we invited to a party hosted by hotel management, they involved with guests and long talks and conversations, awesome experience. place is calm beyond your expectations, the beach is piece of paradise, the wooden road is dreamy.

Not having visiting Cabanas for a few years we noted that the town has grown and developed quite a bit. More choice for eating out, but definitely busier as well. O Pomar is located a little outside the town, but within easy walking distance, with a few shortcuts available. The complex itself is really nice, bar and restaurant on site are both excellent, and the fitness centre is small but well equipped. The pool is very nice, but as the complex got busier, getting a lounger was not always easy. But the staff and other guests were great and it was fairly managed. Casa Joana itself was excellent. More than enough space for our family of 5, balconies off each bedroom, each room ensuite, with a terrace to the rear - the kids did not want to leave. The accommodation was perfect - quiet and clean and excellent value. The team managing the accommodation were great to deal with. Highly recommended.
