It was my daughter's 25th birthday and I decided to treat her to a trip to Portugal. Whilst in our room shortly after arriving at the hotel, we were surprised with a bottle of wine and a slice of cake- with the staff member wishing my daughter a happy birthday! That was such a nice and unexpected gesture that kicked off a fantastic weekend. The choice of vegan food was good at the hotel. The vegan breakfast was amazing! There were a few restaurants close by that served vegan food which was an added bonus of the location of the hotel. The location was perfect. This weekend was intended to relax and have a spa weekend. The facilities at the hotel were exceptional. My daughter was spoiled this weekend. She felt like royalty and that in part was because of the setting of the hotel and the staff. I would 100% come back and 100% recommended this hotel. This was our first time in Portugal and thoroughly enjoyed it

Exceptional service, caring staff, beautiful accommodations and great location. We had the best view from our room. Close to the Port houses, downtown restaurants and a lovely walk to Porto ( also take a cable car for the views). But honesty- the best of everything was right at this hotel. Do not miss the spa!!! The views and treatments both! Breakfast, dinner, the bar and the staff, room service … All lovely! We also enjoyed are delicious welcome port, kind note and traditional pastel de nata Special shout out to Pia and Francisca for getting medical help and running to the pharmacy when my husband injured his back.
