The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The 24 hrs access to the hot spring pools was fantastic. We had the pools to ourselves after 5 pm. We ate sushi one night and it was delicious. Parking was easy and convenient. They allowed us to keep our entrance to gardens and hot spring after check out and even gave us a new robe and towels.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very comfortable. Location was perfect, in the center so easy to walk around and access. Breakfast was nice and freshly made. The bar makes great cocktails! Staff were super friendly and really made my stay. Front of house helped me organize some trips and spots to visit in the nearby area. But staff in all areas were great and very welcoming. Felt safe and well looked after, which was nice as I was traveling by myself.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. The spa area is exceptional and all the staff was very friendly. They were also very nice to our dog.
