Beautiful place if you are traveling in north Portugal and the huge plus is the 3 minutes walk from the hotel to the adventure park. Hotel is lovely with an amazing outdoor pool, great service, option for a chef dinner that we enjoyed. we took the suite room and the only issue with that is the bed, which was too soft for us and not really comfortable. Area is so green and great for hiking.

The property also offers accommodation for disabled guests. The owners were so lovely and accommodating. We truly wish we stayed longer. The hotel is picturesque and extremely relaxing!

Beautiful environment, the pool was great and the host was kind, and made sure we had everything we needed and more.

Casa de Alpajares - Casa de Campo, Enoteca & Spa offers guests a peaceful location with panoramic views of the Douro River. It features a spa & wellness centre with a Turkish bath and sauna. There is a sun terrace, an outdoor pool and a restaurant. As well as a 24-hour front desk. Incredible view over the valley and the river! Also, Manuelas cooking was excellent. The Spa was also fully functional except for the Turkish bath and very nice.

Guests can choose between Vidago’s indoor or outdoor pools or try some rejuvenating beauty treatments at the spa. Hydrotherapy uses local mineral waters and essential oils from plants grown on the Palace grounds. Simply a wonderful experience.
