As someone with mite allergies, I often face challenges with hotel beds, but at Clarion Draken, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was not only soft and inviting, but also allergen-free, ensuring a comfortable and sneeze-free night’s sleep. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the view from the hotel. Positioned perfectly to overlook the city, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the Gothenburg fireworks. It felt like we had front-row seats to the city’s celebrations, all from the comfort of the hotel. Adding to the experience was our time spent at the rooftop bar. The ambiance was perfect for ringing in the New Year, with a selection of drinks that catered to all tastes. It was a great place to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere. The next morning, we were greeted with an extensive breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of food available were impressive, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and tastes. It was the perfect way to start the new year. Lastly, the ease of checking in and out added to the seamless experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure our stay was hassle-free from start to finish. In conclusion, my stay at Clarion Draken was a delightful experience, combining comfort, luxury, and festive cheer. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a special New Year’s Eve in Gothenburg.

Clarion Post owns Skönhetsfabriken Spa. Dry saunas, steam rooms and ice showers are found on site. Beauty treatments can also be booked. Everything was great. Huge, comfy bed, everywhere was spotless, lovely staff, beautiful decor, incredible breakfast, 10/10.

The minimum age to enter the spa facilities and pool is 18 years, or 16 years if accompanied by an adult. Very nice location, walking distance to the city center, the trams and ferries. Nice room with excellent view, superb breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is a bit outdated this did not disturb our stay. Highly recommend!

The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre is a 5-minute walk away. Guest rooms are picturesquely furnished where modern is mixed with a touch of boho and vintage, it feels like coming home when guests stay. Complimentary tea and coffee are offered all day. Within a 10-minute walk is Liseberg Amusement Park and the city's main entertainment street, Avenue. The Scandinavium Tram Stop is 100 metres away and takes guests to Gothenburg Central Station in 5 minutes. Very nice cozy place with the individual charm. Home fragrances provided made my day.
