We went for hiking nearby (Dumbier) and stayed only one night but I wish we could’ve stayed longer! The place is beautifully renovated, our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, just like on the photos. The dinner and the breakfast were really tasty, plenty of options to choose from and the portions are also generous. The personnel was friendly and kind all times, extra points for the cute cat that lives on the property and greets the guests upon arrival. I recommend this place to everyone and we will be back for sure, next time for a longer stay! :)

Located in the UNESCO-listed town of Banská Štiavnica, Resla Residence I, II, is housed in the historic building dating back from the 15th century. Such a gorgeous property with amazing views. We absolutely loved this place.

A bit expensive but trust me, it's worth it. One of the best hotels I've been to. Super cosy, nice hotel, very well equipped. The wellness area is uniquely amazing. Perfect place to get some rest over the weekend. Staff is also very kind and attentive.

A great example of perfect and customer oriented cottage renting: + very friendly owner - Key was kept ready, not any problems with handing over + very nice and clean + kitchen well equipped (missing dish washer,...) + absolutely quite location ++ our dogs were free of charge It's like a little paradise and we would like to come back any time

Everything was just wonderful! Very cozy, clean, excellent view from the balcony. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail: mats in the bathroom that would not stand barefoot on the icy floor, comfortable sofa, TVs with smart tv, the kitchen has everything and in large quantities. We were pleasantly surprised by the new milk carton, pasta packs and soups. We brought food with us, but it was very pleasant to meet such care. The hostess is very generous, all the supplies were just in boxes, not minimized for days and number of people as is often the case in apartments. Didn't want to leave 😁 It was a pleasure to stay with you! You can see that everything is done with heart and for the guests. Thank you!

Though we prefer the more spacious, deluxe rooms, even the standard, value oriented room was fine for us. The A/C definitely helps in the summer time, especially in the attic. We loved the facility overall. The whole site is well kept. The swimming pool and spa is a very nice bonus for the price. The sauna only operates in the afternoon, though. Breakfast was included and we were well fed. :) We even used the restaurant a couple of times and no matter what we picked from the a la cart menu, everything was excellent. Unless you have a very, very good reason to stay directly in Banska Stiavnica, stay here instead. You'll thank me afterwards. :)

Very nice and fully equipped apartment located in a quite spa village. There is an aquapark close to the apartment with several pools with thermal springs water. There are also many nice places around Kováčová. So this apartment is a very good base for day trips to many interesting places.

Gothal Chalupy offers accommodation in a multi-functional areal with various sport and relaxation activities available the neighboring water-wold. We stayed in a 2 bedroom house for new year's eve with smaller children. Everything was great, other reviews are valid about good things. Some extra highlights: - our traditional Slowak wooden log-house was really great, inside and outside. It is big enough for 4 but even for 6. There is a convertible couch in the living room + 4 beds. Interior is really cozy and equipment great. Fully equipped kitchen included. And it's warm due to floor heating. Parking next to the house. And it has a nice smell. 😉🌲 - staff nice and helpful, limited English communication worked fine - buffet style breakfast was great too, good variety and quality, and nothing was empty even close to end. Combination of cold and warm, sweats, vegetables, fruits included. Coffee also good. - buffet style dinner (part of half board) was also great. More the traditional Slovak food but for us it was perfect. Good taste and quality, replaced continuously. Lemonade drink included. (Note: breakfast and dinner in a separate building, short walk, 2-3 mins needed) - various activities are available in a separate building (short walk, 2-3 mins). 2 hours usage of swimming and wellness area per day included in the stay. This area is quite big, 3 pools (swimming, relax, kids), kid's entertainment area, bar. In the same building, you have bowling, pool billiard and table football options for a reasonable fee. Fitness room, quite big, available including a wall climbing area. A simple restaurant with pizza option is also here. During winter time, outside ice skating court, skate renting available. - there is also an event hall where the Sylvester party was organised. - the location is also great, ski resorts e.g Donovaly is close, but also a bigger city (Ruzomberok) is just 15mins drive away. Surrounding nature, beautiful, good walking, tracking, cycling options. Close to the wellness building even a sledge hill is available. (if there is snow)
