The room was spacious, elegantly designed and had a wonderful view out to sea (we were in a Grand Deluxe close to reception, so the relative height at the top of a hill offered a great vantage point). Breakfast was outstanding with tonnes of vegetarian (and gluten-free) options, which was wonderful as so many Thai breakfasts tend to be so meat-heavy - this was a welcome break. The staff were courteous and friendly without exception, and the a/c in the room managed to keep the room cool despite the humidity outside. Visiting in low season was superb value, and honestly with just a few minutes of rain on one of our three day stay, a June visit is really a no-brainer, especially as nearby Khaolak is so quiet and crowd-free during this time. Walking around the resort is a pleasure - if you're lazy and don't consider walking in lush vegetation to be enjoyable, then go stay somewhere flat.

I had breakfast at the Waterfront restaurant for the duration of my stay and it was first class service. Khun Pooh helped me feel very comfortable whilst traveling alone to the resort, all the staff knew my name and showed me around the buffet and the food was so fresh and locally grown so the vegetables had extra taste and there were many healthy options available, the fresh juices were equisite.

The staff were all superb and each restaurant offers something different. We loved the vast beach at the property and the adult only pool was a very welcomed amenity.

This is my second visit to Avani + Khao Lak two years in a row. This is now my therapeutic retreat for me and my family. My kids are so in love with the place especially the kids club. I was so happy to see that most of the staff that I met last year are still at the resort and working tirelessly to keep up with all their guests’ requests. Please keep up this great work you’re all doing and I’ happy this year I was lucky to enjoy a less rainy weather and swam at the beach most of my stay.

Located directly on the Khao Lak’s sunset beach sided by a natural lagoon, Devasom Khao Lak Beach Resort & Villas is a resort found amid tropical garden and coconut groves. The location of the Hotel is 90+ kms from the Airport. Heard it is typically for Scandinavian tourists as it is quiet and remote. The beaches were great, except it was the monsoon and rainy season in Thailand. There is a lagoon next to the hotel and it is a great place to relax and unwind.

Located on the secluded white sands of Bangsak beach, Le Meridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa is the newest addition of Marriott International in Khao Lak, Phang Nga. This is one of the best value resorts I have stayed in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are very practical for travelling with a baby. The all inclusive package was incredible value for money. We will definitely be coming back. We were particularly appreciative of Ae and Oilly extra efforts to entertain our 6 month old baby while we were eating meals.
