The owner was very kind, gave me helpful travel tips, and even showed me how she makes Thai tea. I felt really at home, and I’ll be happy to return on my next visit to Koh Tao. We were lucky enough to spot harmless baby reef sharks and an incredible variety of colorful fish — right from the shore! The staff is exceptional — incredibly kind, courteous, and always available to help with a warm smile. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The food is excellent — fresh, well-prepared, and with enough variety to satisfy any craving. Of course, prices are a bit higher than your average Thai street food, but totally reasonable and expected in a resort of this level. A very special mention goes to Kru Def, the Muay Thai instructor, who offered private sessions tailored to our needs. He’s a great teacher — professional, passionate, and patient. Training with him was one of the highlights of our stay! We’d recommend Sai Daeng Resort to anyone looking for natural beauty, relaxation, and a touch of adventure. We’re already dreaming of coming back!
