The hotel is done up so tastefully and the service was also fantastic - all of the staff were extremely personable and thoughtful - I felt extremely taken care of. I stayed in the marquee tent as well as the double room (with mountain view) - completely different experiences but fantastic all the same. The visit to the waterfalls next door (in the Botanic Gardens) is also a must. There isn't much to do in the area but it doesn't matter: this is a perfect place to just unwind, recharge and enjoy the peace and quiet. I wish I could stay longer. I will definitely be back. PS: I travelled solo but felt very safe!

After travelling 3 months in South East Asia and staying at so many amazing places, we felt that this stay was the best so far. Our host was the kindest most caring and thoughtful host that we have had, and we have had many amazing hosts. The family really have a great taste and they are super tidy and clean. You can see this everywhere from how their garden is kept and layed out to how the rooms are decorated. They offered us really nice bikes for free. When we were a bit late comming back from a treck to the nearby waterfall they went looking for us and drove us to the local thai food restaurant of our choice (great and cheap) just in time before closing (for free). The surrounding area is surprisingly great. Tons of really spectacular waterfalls within reach (1 by foot) a couple by bike + foot and a couple by car + foot. There is also an option to hike with a guide to one of the peaks with overnight camping. We didn't have time to try it out unfortunately, but all the waterfalls were really amazing, great to swim in in the start of the hot season when you need to cool down 😁.

To relax, guests can visit the hotel’s spa which features sauna facilities and massage services. This is a hotel I highly recommend if you're visiting Trang. The hotel is beautiful, comparable to luxury hotels around the world. The breakfast room is spacious and the breakfast is delicious. I recommend the rice salad and khanom jeen. The internet is not very good, very slow.

We stayed one night at Sivalai because the room at the orher resort where we were staying had problems. unfortunately it was already prepaid otherwise we would have moved to Sivalai. Sivalai's beach is the only really clean beach in the area. We were shocked at how much rubbish is lying everywhere else. The rooms are not the newest but they're extremely well maintained and sparkling clean. The food at the restaurant is good and reasonable priced. it was really a bliss the night we stayed there.

Room was clean and with free water and fruits. Massage there was also good. Pool is nice.

Facilities are broadly in line with the cheap price - basic but functional. There are 2 exceptions - the location on a very attractive beachfront is 5 star. But unfortunately it's zero stars for the beds. It feels just like a sheet has been thrown over a slab of concrete. Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
