It was an amazing experience at Royal Manderin, which is located in a very central location in the middle of Zanzibar, not very far from all the tourist visiting sites. As soon as we reached we were greeted by 2 staff members with fresh juices and cold Lemon towel which lightened our mood. The guest Relationship manager Ms. Siara greeted us with a warm smile and was helpful throughout our stay, helping us plan all our activities according to our scedule and always kept a smile for us. The manager Mr Emmanuel was also extremely helpful, friendly and hardworking and then lastly Mr Ahmed from the cabana massage parlour gave us the best beachfront massage we have ever had. All in all, it is a resort that you all must visit.

Speaking both English and Spanish, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. Loved the energy of the place, it is a tuktuk ride away from Paje which is the part of the island I prefer. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The room itself had the perfect video of the water. I totally recommend this spot, and when I asked for a late check out they agreed right away. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that has fresh food and a great breakfast!

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. No idea why this place does not have all 10s. The "I"s are dotted and the "T"s are crossed. Must be the best place to stay on the island. I was lucky to get a room. It was showing full, then all of a sudden availability popped up and I grabbed it. Good thing I did!
