This Capitola hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from central Santa Cruz and New Brighton State Beach. It features an outdoor pool, and spacious suites with 32-inch flat-screen TVs and an iPod docking station. Everything was great. The only thing I would recommend is that the breakfast food area be expanded. It is very small and does not accommodate enough people.

The apartment was beautifully presented, well equipped, and really comfortable. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave! We loved the wonderful seaview from the balcony. We spotted many whales, which really made it special. We enjoyed the nicely kept pool and other resort amenities, the easy access to a beautiful beach and the extra touches in the apartment, such as beach chairs, parasols and games made it feel like a perfect home away from home. The location was great for exploring Santa Cruz, Monterey, and the many attractions in the area. We would recommend to families, couples and friends.

The Pool and Spa/Hot Tub is now open for the guests. Loved Monterey! Perfect for stop between SF and LA or just to chill in lovely Monterey. We didn't have time to use the pool, but the temperature of pool and jacuzzi was great. Spacious, clean and beautiful rooms. Quiet area at night.
