This Capitola hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from central Santa Cruz and New Brighton State Beach. It features an outdoor pool, and spacious suites with 32-inch flat-screen TVs and an iPod docking... Everything was great. The only thing I would recommend is that the breakfast food area be expanded. It is very small and does not accommodate enough people.

Location was great, staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and comfortable. the bed-shower-bathtub were amazing. Highly recommended

Considering its price, this hotel is by far the best among all the hotels that I have stayed in so far. The facilities are all and new. But mmy favorite thing about this hotel is the indoor jacuzzi and swimming pool. My 12 year daughter loved it so much and we spent almost 3 hours there.

Located near Fisherman’s Wharf, it has easy access to shopping, dining, and whale watching. The Portola Hotel & Spa is 1.6 km from the historic Cannery Row. Great location and beautiful rooms!
