We mentioned at check-in that we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary, and the extremely generous employee working at the front desk (so sorry I didn’t see his name!) upgraded us to a beautiful suite. This truly made our stay exceptional! The decor, cleanliness, in-room dining, location and overall value and high quality made our stay a five star experience. We can’t wait to return!

A flat-screen cable TV is provided in each air-conditioned room at Hotel Bellwether on Bellingham Bay. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator and a coffee machine. Select rooms include relaxing spa baths or fireplaces. The property was finished to a superb level, spacious rooms. We had dinner which was amazing, the Calamari was the best I have ever had. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. The location was great and the beautiful weather this weekend enhanced the stay.

Located less than a mile to Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal, this San Juan Island hotel features a seasonal outdoor hot tub open from May to October and rooms with free Wi-Fi. San Juan National Historic Park is 5 miles away. Locating the Discovery Inn was very easy as it was very close to the center of town and the ferry terminal. When I went in to check in, I was welcomed by Miriam the manager of the Inn. Miriam was super nice and an excellent source of information, from where to go for dinner to what to see on the island. We then went to the room, which was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Both my partner and I had a wonderful stay here and we would definitely stay here again. I have already recommended it to friends and family when I told them about my trip to San Juan Island!

The check in was easy, Room was spacious and beds were comfy. Breakfast had a lot of options. We were just a 10minute walk from the Washington State Fair.

Location was perfect. It was within eight minutes of the airport. But not noisy. The room was large enough to accommodate three adults. The pool was clean and very usable for an elderly swimmer.
