The food was fresh, well prepared and served in a nice setting. We had a personal waiter, Mr Tom, who made sure that we were served quickly and efficiently with courtesy and kindness. He was exceptional along with the entire crew who were friendly, courteous and professionally first class.

As a solo traveler, I was a little nervous about joining a cruise, but Calista made me feel completely at home. The ship is beautiful – brand new with elegant decor and open spaces that invite you to relax. I loved having a glass of wine on the deck while watching the sunset over the bay. It was peaceful and awe-inspiring. The staff treated everyone like family – shoutout to Trang for making sure I had everything I needed. The food was incredible, especially the lemongrass grilled shrimp and mango sticky rice. I also joined the cooking class and met some great people. It was a serene and enriching experience – highly recommend to fellow solo travelers!

Each accommodation at the 5-star cruise has sea views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace and to a bar. The cruise features an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, karaoke and room service. We absolutely loved this cruise from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond at every point, the rooms were beautiful and well equipped, the restaurant offered a good variety of dishes, and the activities were all fun and engaging. I would also like to add that the boat was extremely safe and secure, there were two instances where handbags were left behind or misplaced and the staff immediately returned it to the rightful owner.

The room we stayed in has a big space, traditional style, and is very clean. The bathroom has a rain shower and a separate jacuzzi bathtub, and we could see a beautiful view through the bathroom's big window. There is also a balcony that we could sit and chill on, drink our beer, and enjoy peaceful and quiet Halong Bay scenery. The staff (Johnny, Tommy, Mr. Vien Manager, et al.) is very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. They ensured our memorable experience. A round-trip private car from Hanoi to Halong Bay was arranged well (2.5 hrs on the expressway). We were picked up from the hotel in Hanoi at 9:15 am. The room included 3 meals a day, water activities (cruising & kayaking), and an excursion (bicycle tour) at Cat Ba. We highly recommend a 3-day and 2-night stay. On the last day, we left something on the cruise. The staff, especially Thuy Dang, was very helpful and thoughtful to manage to deliver our stuff in Hanoi. We really appreciate it.

The place is outside of the city center, which allows you to take in real fresh air. The place is clean and has been freshly painted. At night, as the beach is too far, it is possible to go for a swim in the relaxing swimming pool. The balcony is very large and protectd from the heat of the sun and allows one to work on the computer, if need be. Mr. Cane is an excellent billard player, think twice before asking him to play.
