Very central near to the lake. Room was ok. We had a funny balcony which was like a corridor. Bed was very comfortable. The outstanding feature of this hotel was the staff. They were the best. Always smiling and happy to see you.

We stayed at Lions Hotel, where Austin graciously upgraded our room, making our stay even more comfortable. Later, at L’Signature, we were once again upgraded to a beautiful, larger room with a stunning balcony—an absolute treat! To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a thoughtful gift, and on our departure, they carried our luggage to a taxi 300 meters away, as the weekend restricted car access. Their dedication and attention to detail left a lasting impression. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—it’s exceptional! The staff here were truly amazing . We called in before our stay as we needed a place to change before taking the train to Sapa. They made us truly welcome. On our return we had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. Our only regret that we couldn’t stay longer.

We loved our stay at salute hôtel, especially thanks to the staff that was super attentive and always very nice. We can only recommend staying there as they really made the difference (plus location and breakfast were both perfect !). We could take a shower before heading for the night train even though we had already checked out, which we appreciated a lot after a day of visit in very hot weather.
