River Bend Lodge is a truly special place. We were warmly welcomed by Chris (manager) and John (our ranger) and Rachel wo guided us around the property and to our suites. Throughout our stay we were genuinely pampered by an incredibly friendly, smiling team who made everything feel effortless and personal. Zuzu cooked with all her heart the dinner. Chris was discretely present and very alert of our well-being. The lodge is beautifully set in the bush, offering remarkable privacy, space, and tranquility. The suites are generously spaced, ensuring a deep sense of exclusivity and calm. We lived the outdoor shower! You really feel as if the bush belongs to you alone. The safaris are exceptionally interesting and engaging, made unforgettable by our private guide, John. Having him on five game drives was such a huge privilege. The bush is clearly his home. His knowledge is so vast, his storytelling captivating, and his passion infectious. Every drive felt personal, educational, and so entertaining, never rushed and never routine. Our expectation had by far been exceeded and we will keep memories for ever of these tours and wild animals, and of John. We highly recommend the River Bend Lodge to anyone seeking an intimate, high-quality safari experience with outstanding guiding and a true sense of place.

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve. What a lovely quiet place. Super friendly personnel. Great breakfast. Beautiful and spacious suite. We loved all of it!

We used the Spa which perfectly complemented the Lodge. The rooms were spotlessly clean as were the rest of the facilities.

Alle var utroligt søde og imødekommende. Vi havde game drives hver dag og de var alle fantastiske med en super god guide (Sim), som var god til at finde dyrene og fortælle om dem. Long Lee Manor is situated within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. The Edwardian-styled manor boasts manicured gardens and overlooks the African plains. The accommodation , safari , staff and food was outstanding . The vista from the infinity pool towards the water hole and safari back drop was breath taking . Our guide/ranger Abel was so knowledgeable

Set on a citrus farm on the banks of the Sundays River, Avoca River Cabins offers game drives, 2 outdoor swimming pools, a children’s playground and conference and wedding facilities. I only have great things to say about this place. When we arrived by motorcycle it was very very hot. The manager upgraded us to a little chalet so that it would be cooler and more comfortable for us. The whole property is beautiful and well maintained. They have a pool and a lovely river. We had the breakfast in the morning and it was copious and delicious. It is definitely a place I would not hesitate to recommend.

Zuurberg ligger på en bjergtop omgivet af savanne og har panoramaudsigt over Addo Elephant Nationalpark. Der er udendørs pool og en række udendørs aktiviteter. Beautiful scenic location. Staff was excellent! Especially Anthony. Did not like the road to get there. It is not maintained.
