We booked Cottage 1 - Private Pool, Outdoor Shower Staff are excellent - from Veronique and Jenna right to the servers and our Game Driver "Micky-Lea" (sp? 🫣) 5 ⭐️ hospitality - they seriously are accommodating and seeking to make the guest experience, the best possible Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the early a.m. sunrises and evening sunsets on the property. The inner garden and courtyard are just beautiful... especially in the golden hours

Woodall Country House & Spa is a 5-star property offering luxury accommodation and gourmet cuisine in a peaceful location. The guesthouse is close to Addo Elephant Park and Shamwari Game Reserve.

Breakfast is served buffet-style each morning. Lunches can be enjoyed poolside or on the sun deck and dinner is available in the thatched dining room that overlooks the water. We enjoyed our stay here. The whole hotel crew is lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we had cold water in the shower but the manager personally took care of it and within 30 minutes the problem was solved. We were also offered another room as an alternative. The manager is very concerned about his guests. Very nice to see something like this and to feel valued as customer!

Situated within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, 9 km from Paterson, Shamwari Bayethe offers luxury tents with a private plunge pool. Home to the Big 5, the reserve features scenic views of the vast landscapes. The setting and the facilities were excellent. We used the Spa which perfectly complemented the Lodge. The rooms were spotlessly clean as were the rest of the facilities.

Kuzuko Lodge consist of 24 chalet of which 3 are fully wheelchair accessible. All facilities including the pool, spa, gym, conference room, restaurant, family lounge, curio shop and bar are accessible by wheelchair. We had an incredible stay at Kuzuko which we will never forget. From the moment you arrive everything is taken care of. We went on all game drives during our stay, and were surprised every time. The food and staff are outstanding and the views are breathtaking. Definitely the highlight of our trip to South Africa.

Set between 2 streams in a lush bush land, this 5-star lodge is located within the Lalibela Game Reserve. It offers secluded suites with private heated plunge pools and terraces.

Included in the rates are 2 game drives per night stayed, all meals and drinks. Visitors can choose between indoor and outdoor dining areas or just relax by the pool with their favourite drink. Everything was great; from the service of the lodge staff to the game drive tour guides. Cannot find fault with anything.

The spacious and elegant rooms and suites at Shamwari Long Lee Manor feature satellite TV, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and tea-and-coffee making facilities.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included and served in the dining area or outdoors. Simply great. Great location in many senses - the reserve itself (only 1 hour from the airport PLZ), the location of the manor in the reserve and of course the reserve as a biodiverse paradise. Food - great - suprisingly great we have to say. The Manor is spacious, our room was much larger than expected. It had a terrace facing the open reserve where you could see animals from a distance after a shower or having a coffee. The buildings have a modern country style touch, are very welcoming, open and invite to relax. There is "the usual" 5-star stuff to do, if you are not on a game drive (pool, spa, gym, etc). Which is great if you have a partner or you are in a group with people that are not into game drives as much - they will have a proper 5-star hotel experience and be able to relax anyway. - This is a main difference to camps with tents and less luxurious equipment. Staff is very friendly - nice concept of the ranger having breakfast with you afterwards so you can reflect upon what you have seen. Children - there is another camp in the reserve that is especially family friendly - I forgot the name - ask the reserve, they will tell you.

Featuring mountain views, Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge in Addo features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The elephants came to drink during breakfast. The bush walk and game drive was also amazing.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks are served at various indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is a fire pit where guests can enjoy a nightcap after dinner.

Guests may either book a Bed and Breakfast package or our Full Board Package which includes all meals and 1 outdoor activity per day (night stayed) on the reserve in an open game viewing vehicle, accompanied by a qualified game ranger. Outdoor activities include, game drives, giraffe walks, bush walks, bird watching and star gazing experiences. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day and sundowner drinks are offered at sunset. The hole experience was immense! Breakfast and dinner can also be arranged in advance. Guests can relax by the swimming pool or in the garden. Free private parking is available on site. and free WiFi is available at the main dining area and at the pool. We had the most phenomenal one night stay as a family of 4 at Avoca River Cabins. The cabin was right on the water with the most stunning views. Gorgeous braai area and everything you need for self catering. Absolute gem of a place!

Rooms at the Zuurberg Mountain Village combine safari-style with classic décor, offering natural furnishings. All rooms include a private patio and a panoramic deck and some have a deluxe bathroom. Beautiful scenic location. Staff was excellent! Especially Anthony. Did not like the road to get there. It is not maintained.
