The bed and breakfast offers bed linen, towels and housekeeping service. Judy is a perfect host. She just took care of everything and helped us a lot. The cottage itself is very very nice, equipped with just everything you'll need. The jacuzzi is fun and we we had a great time.

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. There are bicycles available for guests to rent, and guests can relax in the garden. Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. A whole lot of imagination and hard work went into making the cleopatra the dream location it is. the food was absolutely delicious, while we were eating, the fires in the rooms were lighten so we came back to a cozy warm room. Caster and the rest of the staff made us feel special.
