The staff was extremely friendly, I sprained my ankle during my stay and they even remembered when I bumped in to them again later that week in town. The hosting was very personal and friendly, this will probably be my go to place to stay when I need a hotel in Hoedspruit

The staff has been exceptional and well trained, super helpful and friendly. A proper warm South African welcome. The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.

It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Above all, the best hostess in the world. Thank you Alet, for this fantastic experience.

Our stay was marked by exceptional hospitality and genuine attention to detail. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Even a small mix-up regarding the nearest airport was quickly resolved with their help, as they recommended a car rental that worked perfectly for us. We arrived hungry after lunchtime and were immediately offered a quick meal, followed by a delicious dinner served in our room. My wife, who is five months pregnant, received outstanding care throughout our stay - from meals tailored to her dietary restrictions to special attention during tours, including extra blankets and more comfortable seating. The hotel also stands out for offering excellent non-alcoholic beverage options, which was a meaningful touch for us. The accommodations are flawless: comfortable, clean, modern, and with thoughtful details like pre-warmed sheets waiting for us after excursions. Our guided tour to Kruger National Park was led by a knowledgeable guide who made the experience even more enriching. Upon returning, our room was always tidy and welcoming. It was a memorable experience, defined by warmth, comfort, and attention to every detail. We highly recommend it

I had a truly amazing time at this place! I cried when I was leaving. The staff was so kind and welcoming, the house where I stayed had everything needed, the food was fantastic and safaris were really amazing, I saw so many animals! Thank you!
