Private bathroom as part of the tent. The staff is very friendly and you can easily connect with other people during game drive or at the camp fire. Game drives were fantastic! We have seen all the big 5 and our guides Karabo and Floyd are very knowledgeable. We also really enjoyed the food. The star is the braai (bbq) which offers options for meat lovers and vegetarians. I was surprised how good the oxtail was. The starter soups are also amazing. Vegetarian options were also available on request. Potential allergies were requested beforehand. For breakfast my favourite was the omelette, but other options are provided as well. Besides all of this you can enjoy the pool surrounded by birds between your game drives and in the night time, the sounds of the bush (yes we heard hyenas while falling asleep, but no need to worry, all is safe as a fence separates you from the wild animals!). Various animals wandered across the estate’s courtyard, which made the experience even more special. Given the winter season, the heated bed was a most welcome touch. It was very clean and the food was delicious.

We walked in the forest and found the lavendar and rosemary field. We had a wonderful few days and will definitely be back.

The owners can also assist you with the organisation of safari excursions in open game vehicles and golf rounds at Leopard Creek Country Club. Day trips to Mozambique, Swaziland and the surrounding attractions can be arranged. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kambaku. The staff were friendly and always there if we needed something or had a question. It was peaceful and tranquil, which let us relax. They offer spectacular views of the Crocodile River and wildlife - even had some lions visit. Very accommodating, food to die for and extra special was the packed breakfast for our early departure to the park. Cannot wait to visit again.
