Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City. Our stay at this hotel was simply unforgettable! The location is perfect, surrounded by beauty and convenience, and the rooms are wonderfully comfortable. The service was beyond expectations – warm, caring, and truly genuine. The meals were absolutely delicious, prepared with so much care and flavor. Our ranger was incredibly dedicated and attentive, making every moment of our trip special and memorable. Every staff member we met was kind, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. This weekend wasn’t just a stay – it was an experience we will treasure forever.

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is located inside the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Surrounded by plains and hills, this luxurious lodge boasts a outdoor pool and award winning spa. We enjoyed the beauty of the property. Marvin was an amazing guide who helped us to see many of the cats. The staff works very hard to make your stay enjoyable!

Situated in Madikwe Game Reserve, Tau Game Lodge provides luxury accommodation with air conditioning and access to a private deck. Complimentary WiFi is available. The food and hospitality was amazing! All staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had incredible game drive experiences. The spa treatments were also so good :)

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Iris Retreat & Island Day Spa is situated in Skeerpoort, 15 minutes' drive from Hartbeespoort Dam. Absolutely LOVED our stay. Here are some of the reasons we enjoyed it so much: Private outdoor relaxation area, complimentary sherry on arrival, decor, separate kitchen area, shower pressure on both inside and outside shower was really good, the bed was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the animals on the property. Unfortunately no time to use the spa facilities, but hope to visit again and take advantage of spa treatments on offer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Iris Retreat!!!

Black Rhino Game Lodge offers spacious, well-appointed accommodation situated in Pilanesberg, 33 km from Sun City. Free WiFi is provided and free parking is available on site. Due to a delay on our flight we were later as scheduled and might miss the first game drive, but the staff was so kind to wait for us. Also the location is great, not too far from Johannesburg but far enough to have true wild nature. Food was great and room was excellent, big and comfy.

Everything about the experience at Umoya was exceptional. The pre-arrival communication was fantastic. The staff during our stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and seemed proud of their job. The food was top notch (thanks David and Happy!). The setting is amazing and the photos don’t do the rooms or communal spaces justice. We did two game drives over our stay and Rassie was equal parts friendly and knowledgable.

The house is beautifully maintained with a peaceful garden and a lovely view of the golf course, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The estate is secure and quiet, and the host was responsive and accommodating throughout.
