The staff during our stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and seemed proud of their job. The food was top notch (thanks David and Happy!). The setting is amazing and the photos don’t do the rooms or communal spaces justice. We did two game drives over our stay and Rassie was equal parts friendly and knowledgable.

The nearby Splash Kingdom Water Park offers entertainment for the family and there is also a children's playground on site. Absolutely loved everything, a peaceful and tranquil getaway just 2 hours from Pretoria. The activities were great to keep the kids entertained and only 5 mins drive from Sun City.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in The Kwa Maritane Restaurant, overlooking the waterhole and the park’s natural granite rock formations. A lovely breakfast and dinner buffet that changed every night and we’re not usually buffet diners. Friendly helpful staff. Location where the wildlife comes right up to the fence and an elephant even came to drink at the restaurant pond one morning. Fun and informative game drives.

Guided game drives within the Pilanesberg National Park can be arranged on advance request. Quiet and peaceful location just outside of Pilanesberg. The rooms were well equipped with everything in working order. The pool was lovely.
