Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City. It’s a fantastic place!!! We stayed one night in the “luxury suite”. For us it was the perfect amount of time on safari ( 2 x 3.5 hours) but we could’ve stayed another night just to enjoy the facilities and the private pool!

Ivory Tree Game Lodge is located inside the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. Surrounded by plains and hills, this luxurious lodge boasts a outdoor pool and award winning spa. The welcome, staff, cleanliness and food were excellent

Black Rhino Game Lodge offers spacious, well-appointed accommodation situated in Pilanesberg, 33 km from Sun City. Free WiFi is provided and free parking is available on site. The staff was amazing. Good food and The games are well done. Everything was OK.

Everything about the experience at Umoya was exceptional. The pre-arrival communication was fantastic. The staff during our stay were incredibly helpful, friendly and seemed proud of their job. The food was top notch (thanks David and Happy!). The setting is amazing and the photos don’t do the rooms or communal spaces justice. We did two game drives over our stay and Rassie was equal parts friendly and knowledgable.

The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and every single person we met was exceptionally kind and genuine. The food was delicious, and every meal felt like a treat. A special shoutout to our amazing guide Andrew – your knowledge and energy made our experience truly unforgettable. And a huge thank you to our wonderful host Phindi – you were so helpful and kind. Thank you for everything – we’ll never forget this place!

Located alongside Pilanesberg National Park, The Kingdom Resort offers air-conditioned accommodation on either a room only or self-catering basis. Sun City Resort is 5 km away. Absolutely loved everything, a peaceful and tranquil getaway just 2 hours from Pretoria. The activities were great to keep the kids entertained and only 5 mins drive from Sun City.

Featuring a pool surrounded by lush vegetation, the Bakubung Bush Lodge is located in the Pilanesberg National Park. It offers a variety of massages, and has elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi.... Very knowledgeable and friendly safari drivers. Be sure not to miss the Wednesday bush dinner

Location where the wildlife comes right up to the fence and an elephant even came to drink at the restaurant pond one morning. Fun and informative game drives.

Bakgatla Resort is located in the north-eastern part of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, near the Bakgatla Gate. The resort offers an outdoor pool, restaurant and a children's playground. Quiet and peaceful location just outside of Pilanesberg. The rooms were well equipped with everything in working order. The pool was lovely.
