My boyfriend and I stayed one night at Oda e Gurit and really enjoyed it. The hotel is new, but built in a traditional style, and it's right in the heart of Berat’s old town, just a short walk from the main sights and the Old Bridge. The room was clean, cozy, and had a nice local touch. The host was welcoming and gave us great tips for where to eat and what to see. Breakfast was simple but fresh.

Location was fabulous. Breakfast was really nice and generous. The host and staff were very accomodating. The best bit was that staff had turned on heating in the room for us on a very cold winter day.

Location is great, overall mood is AMAZING. Best staff ever, there's an army of volunteers working there and staying at Maya feels like living in a community rather in a hostel. Dorms are spacious and beds super comfortable despite the building is not super new. Highly recommended! Don't miss the wine tasting tour!
