From the moment you see the hut on the side of the mountain you feel a home from home. Relaxing, quiet (interspersed with the melodic sounds of cow bells) & comfortable. Bernhard & his team are like a welcoming family. Comfortable bunks, scrummy Austrian food & delicious homemade schnapps. If you want to experience a traditional mountain lodge experience this is a great place to start. With unexpected bonus fast wifi!

excellent location, really close to ski slopes, restaurants etc, amazing owners, amazing breakfast, everything was clean :) We loved it, very cozy feeling inside, big rooms etc, we are sure to return with my family!

The location was absolutely perfect, we could easily hike around the area. Overall, I believe that it was the best place for us to stay at, even better than being down in the town centre. We could easily reach the hotel by a public bus (960). The staff is super friendly and helpful, we were very happy with everything. If we would return to Dachstein, we would happily stay there again. :)
