It was an emergency stop due to train stoppage due to floods. I was totally amazed at the front desk guy Michael. He keeps so calm and totally in control with dozens of people queuing up for a room. He was helpful and had a good service mind and kept all the guests happy with his smile. Well done Mike. I would hire him any day.

The free breakfast everyday was amazing. I also loved the location because it was so nice to take walks in that area. I felt very safe as a woman going alone at night. I loved the restaurant next to the hotel and dined there a couple times, the food was great. The staff was so, so friendly. They wash your laundry. One time I left my laundry and it wasn't washed the next day. When I complained about this to staff, they made sure my clothes were clean the next day. I looked forward to sleeping there every night. What else can I stay. It was lovely. I'll remember my stay there for the rest of my life. Great sunsets.

It was difficult to get there with bikes. The receptionist was extremely helpful with putting our bikes in a garage and helping us get settled in the room. The room was facing the noisy Main Street but after a certain hour of the night it was ok. The windows worked with allowing room air flow through.

This modern 3-star hotel is a few minutes away from the A7 motorway and 1.9 mi from the center of Linz. The ibis Styles Linz offers a heated outdoor pool in summer, several tennis courts, and a sauna....

In a quiet location a 20-minute walk from the Old Town of Linz and a 10-minute walk from the Design Center, B&B HOTEL Linz City-Ost offers a bar and free WiFi access.
