The rooms are all named after fruit and tastefully decorated according to their name.. Breakfast is lavish, but, unfortunately, the buffet is cleared at 9 o'clock. We were originally booked in a budget room under the gables. Luckily, we could pay the difference and stay a superior room on sight.

This family-run 3-star hotel is located in the historic centre of Melk in the Wachau World Heritage Site, at the foot of the Baroque abbey. Free WiFi and free private parking are available.

A big room, clean and comfortable. Really nice stuff, very helpful and polite. A very good location, free parking and good breakfast. They arranged late check in procedures and were very responsive. Melk abbey was in a walking distance.

Beautiful location, clean and comfortable rooms, very cozy and friendly atmosphere, really nice and helpful host, delicious food and festive setting made with love and care.

Set directly on the riverbank of the Danube, the family-run Gasthof Haselberger offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves home-made cuisine and local wine.

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and we were able to store our bikes in the garage. We had a lovely room with a view over the Danube and a balcony. Beds were really comfortable and the shower was great. We were the only guests (as it was Sunday night) but we still had a full breakfast laid out for 2. We ate in the restaurant which was fine. The menu is very limited though. Overall, a lovely stay.

The location is superb with a astonishing view over the Danube river. The room is very comfortable and the bed was good and I slept really well. The selection of the food/drinks at the breakfast buffet was excellent and we always got a nice table at the window with the wonderful view. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Motel style B&B - room was directly on the Danube cycle track and overlooking the river. Splendid view. The room had a mini bar fridge - well stocked ( ifexpensive) Breakfast was a superb buffet We were cycling and it was easy to take our bikes indoors!
