We had 2 rooms for 2 nights, as we were in town to attend the Cold Chisel 50th birthday concert. Staff were helpful with advice on the best local eateries. Although on a busy road, it was quiet in the room. The balcony also provided a great spot for a morning cuppa.

We were staying in Ballarat to run the marathon the next day. The Alfred was perfect. Super friendly staff, clean, quiet, great beds, and all the facilities we needed.

Great location, close to Kryal Castle where we spent the weekend. Quiet, easy access due to not having to check in and get a key. Room had everything we needed. It was the second time we've stayed here and would definitely book again.
