The room was unfit for purpose, broken window held together with masking tape, ceiling gaps. Threadbare sheets and bleach stained small towel. Stained walls and wobbly hard beds, mercifully no bed bugs. I could not stay for the 2 nights I had to pay for.

    The location of the hotel is superb with lots of history. The building itself dates from 1875. Great garden, great views. The restaurant is great. The breakfast is just wonderful and very generous.
