Location, how quaint and charming it is! We stayed for a night before boarding the GEX and the location is everything. Just a short 3 minutes walk to the station straight forward. Right in the centre of Brig main attractions too. The hotel itself and the suite we stayed are perfect for kids - very homey, comfortable, with nice toilet and strong showers. Toiletries from Molton Brown works too. They provide token for your hot and cold drinks at the breakfast area, and provide continental breakfast with eggs which is a plus before our ride.

Exceptional value for money in Switzerland Excellent communication re self check in. I was lucky enough to be given such a lovely room with a balcony and view of the castle. Such a wonderful location. Easy walk from train Very clean room. Lovely bed linen and comfy mattress. Coffee machine appreciated. Breakfast included. Good choice of fresh fruit. Very spacious, very clean. Hard mattress wich was perfect for my back. Plenty of parking space. Staff very helpful, didn't knew where the button for opening the window shutter was, after rang them they show up in a sec to my door way. Internet acceptable, could be better.

The hotel is a little older but very clean. The buffet style breakfast was very good. Overall, a nice place at a great location just in front of the train station. The street in front of the hotel is a little noisier but you can get a good sleep with closed windows.

I arrived at the Riederalp Mitte cable car station and it was a 2 minute walk to B&B Zurschmitten. My studio apartment was spacious, clean, and looked to be newly renovated, with a good kitchen space with cooktop and microwave. The Coop was close by. The views from the balcony were wonderful, looking over to the mountains on the other side of the valley. I spent a very comfortable 3 nights here, enjoying the walk trails and visiting the viewpoints over Aletsch Glacier. The people I talked to when I checked in and out, and who served breakfast in the restaurant were all very friendly. The price was very good and I would highly recommend a stay here!

    Location is directly across from the railway station and a quick walk from the city center. Rooms was perfect with a view on the railway station, but it was a silent room. Breakfast was good.
