We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Steinbock, where we stayed for a night before setting off for a weekend ski tour and night in a mountain hut. The staff were all very friendly and check-in was really easy. The room was a great size and very clean, as was the bathroom, which looked to have been recently refurbished. Even being on the main road and above a restaurant, noise was not an issue at all. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and great value for money. Breakfast was also good and there was a lot of choice. The coffee was great.

    The hotel is located quite far from Grindelwald (centre), so it's a reasonable solution if you travel by car. The hotel and restaurant staff is very friendly.
