Location is brilliant in a short distance from crowds, at the same time being on the main street. This hotel is in a great location. It is right in the heart of Grindelwald. The best part was we had a room with a view and it was a super view of the Eiger from the balcony. I could sit out there all day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was convenient. The rooms were Swiss clean and there was a great free tea bar. It was nice to have a tea on the balcony watching the sunset.

The staff over here are exceptional. My biggest thanks to Simona working there. She was the best and made the whole experience of staying there wonderful. She makes sure that every person who stays there is having a good time. She takes care of everyone like a family and speaks with warmth. If the management is reading this you should really appreciate her personally. She was excellent. Also excellent ladies at the reception. They are so welcoming and kind. This is what I look for in a perfect hotel.

We loved everything about the hotel. First thing to know — it is located on the first station Bort of the same gondola that goes up to the First. The biggest advantage of the hotel's location is that it has a direct open view on Eiger and Grindelwald. You literally feel like a bird. The view from the window and a little area with loungers in front of our room were breathtaking. Literally, no words can describe this view. Staying at the hotel was already a gem of the trip. The breakfast was very nice. Everything was tasty, the restaurant interior is cozy. We loved it.

    The hotel is located quite far from Grindelwald (centre), so it's a reasonable solution if you travel by car. The hotel and restaurant staff is very friendly. The 3 stars of the place match the quality here. The views from the hotel room are really great. Overall quite nice stay and good value for money.
