The trip was excellent. I was only there for one day but I have to say that the value for money is just perfect. The location is close to the waterfront and within walking distance to the train station. There are great restaurants nearby. Loved the minimalistic but cozy room. Nothing extra. The view from the balcony is super!

We loved our stay at the Locanda! The location is ideal if you want to enjoy the magic of Castagnola. Lugano's lively centre is about a 30-minute walk away, so the hotel is located in a much quieter part of the city, with charming streets and fantastic views. There is also a public transport stop right next to the hotel. The beds are very comfortable, everything is clean and tidy. Hotel staff is the best! We felt really welcomed. They also helped us with recommendations on what to see and what not to miss. Check-in process and all other communucation with them was super easy. A wonderful experience! We will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

    The location was excellent as we were in the heart of Lugano with easy access to city center. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The A/C worked great and we were very comfortable sleeping at night. The staff was very helpful when we needed assistance.
