A truly delightful hotel just a short walk from the heart of Xi’an — the ancient starting point of the Silk Road. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with stylish decor that evoked the grandeur of ancient Rome — a fitting nod to the route’s distant terminus. Great location with easy access to the city wall and restaurants and local food shops. Our host was fantastic and organised tickets to a local show with dinner and even dropped us off to the theatre. Breakfast was basic but tasty and organised for the times we needed.

The location of this place couldn’t be better. It’s located near the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower and the Muslim area is right across the street. In addition, there are two subway stations just a couple of hundred meters away, so getting everywhere in the city is easy from here. Also, there’s plenty of restaurants on the same street (the place right opposite to the hotel is superb!).
