Location was great! You can go walking to the city of Tortuguero and also to the Jaguar path. There were many places for relaxing with and excelent view at Mawamba Lodge and Breakfast was excelent.

With pool views, Laguna Lodge Full Board is set in Tortuguero and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace.

Absolutely amazing unique place. Fun sitting out on the veranda watching the wildlife (we saw Parrots, Racoons, Frogs toads, spiders). Good variety of food and incredible early morning safari and turtle watching tours.

Offering a restaurant, Cabinas Tortuguero Natural is located 50 metres from Tortuguero Beach, a common site for turtle hatching. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Hotel Sunset Rooms is set in Tortuguero, 200 metres from Tortuguero Beach.

What a lovely host, we felt very welcome! Marcia and her family are the most warm-hearted and helpful hosts we’ve had so far. Also, it was great that we were welcomed by a first contact person at the parking area - even before taking the boat from La Pavona. While waiting for the boat we got the first information regarding available tours and other helpful recommendations for our stay.
