Brilliant place with all the amenities within the larger complex of which the Pension is part. Great breakfast. Our room was massive and very comfortable. Very nice area with hikes around the corner and good restaurants nearby. Stongly advise to come by car.

the location could be the best, if a few paths wouldn’t be closed because of the summer fires and falling trees danger. check current situation if this is an important factor for you. Also, the prices at the restaurant are relatively OK, the beer was cheap and tasty.

We wanted to explore Bohemian/Saxonian Switzerland (Elbsandsteingebirge). Originally we intended to stay at Bad Schandau but found Hotel Devitka in only 13 km distance, close to the border. While there is a lot going on directly at the Elbe/Labe, Janov lies extremely calm on a plateau where you can see for miles and really relax. It’s a great place to explore the area, if you get there by car or are prepared to climb for 3 km by bike at the end of your ride. Hotel Devitka belongs to the golf course „Golf Janov“, so it‘s really at the end of the small village. The rooms are quite new, spacious and well equipped. There is a nice breakfast buffet and it’s possible to have dinner, basically Czech cuisine with little daily changes. Since the hotel is run by a small but very friendly staff there is little service possible during the day - dinner time starts at 6 pm. We enjoyed the food, beer and selection of wine very much. We stayed for 5 nights and would return any time.

The price is excellent for a hotel room that contains its own bathroom. Check-in was easy with a key safe, and the staff was very friendly when we met the next morning. The location is very convenient for the Church without a Spire, and I was able to walk to everything else in Varnsdorf. The breakfast was tasty.

The price/quality ratio is very good. A separate plus for very friendly and welcoming staff. One point to consider might be to install blinds on windows because at some point early in the morning the sun shines right in your face

Almost everything was good. Breakfast, dinner, swimming pool was great. If you are with the kids they will like little zoo. Room was spacious and well equiped. Also free parking.
