Fantastic place to stay, with lovely, comfortable rooms, great restaurant, perfect, rich breakfast. All very clean and extremely well kept. Free parking also an advantage. Great spot to enjoy the area and concerts in Blaibach.

Bodenmais is a fantastic location, a bigger resort village but with absolute quiet day and night. At LuCA Hotel, which is under new management, there is swimming pool and sauna (though we didn’t use it). The front desk also gives out free passes to local attractions, for example the ski lift. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the restaurant, where a resident Italian chef makes very good homey and authentic Italian food. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable.

the best. booked one room for family of four, but instead we got two rooms for the same price. indoor pool and sauna were top, and close together. breakfast was also wonderful and the owner was very kind and even gave us Bavarian forest aktiv card for free.
