Brilliant location just a short walk from the train station and on the edge of the old town. Lovely room with a comfortable bed. Kettle and tea/coffee in the room and more available from reception. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Nice bar for a final drink before bed. Good selection at breakfast.

Perfect starting point for cycling the Danube. Loads of facilities for bikes including easy garage lock up. Excellent that you can leave your car for 3€ a day in an enormous safe field/ car park just behind the rooms.

Nice hotel overall, it is slightly far from the city center, not sure about the bus connections, so you'd better check your options before booking depending on which transport you are using. If you travel by car it is a nice place: big parking lot right across, Kaufland is right there, rooms are very neat, beds super comfy, no air conditioners though so you need to consider that as well before booking. Breakfast, coffee, cigarette machine is on the sight.

Rotel Inn was exactly as described on your website and perfectly answered my need for a place to break my journey before an early morning start. I travelled solo. The location is beautiful, my room looked out onto the Danube. It’s a five minute walk from the railway station and a slightly longer walk (about 15 minutes) along the riverside bicycle path to the town centre. The room was very comfortable indeed for one small and fairly agile person (you have to clamber onto the bed), good bed, opening window with insect screen (no insects in sight on this occasion), spotless toilets and shower opposite. Reception staff was very helpful, atmosphere is welcoming. I would be happy to use Rotel Inn whenever I visit Passau, one of my favourite cities.
