Scheidegg is a nice quiet cozy town in a beautiful area. The hotel was very comfortable, an oasis of relaxation. Very nice sauna and pool, beautiful garden, very friendly staff and great breakfast.

Good location in the middle of the town. There are numerous restaurants and cafés very close by, so easily walkable. . Other attractions are only a short drive away. E.g. Lindau 25 mins by car. Free parking on the street with reserved places for guests. The info in the hotel suggests they also have covered garage parking for a fee, but we didn't enquire about this. The room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed. There was also two comfortable chairs and a coffee table. Sufficient power sockets for chargers and accessories. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a nice walk-in shower. Breakfast was good and attention was paid to ensuring that the buffet items were replenished. They reception staff were very helpful and help was available to carry luggage up to the room. All of the staff we met were happy and cheerful and eager to help out. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area be it for an overnight stay, or indeed as a base for longer stays to explore the area.

I asked for a quiet room away from the traffic/road and had a lovely room with en suite bathroom. It was winter and lots of snow and I was glad to sleep in a comfortable bed. Hotel staff directed me to the only open restaurant in town that Sunday evening and it was truly good and authentic Sicilian Il Cavallino or something like that. The next morning I could resume my long road trip to Berlin by car.

Clean, tidy, cosy. Really good breakfast, friendly staff. We also had dinner in hotel restaurant, we had schnitzel and soup, both stunning. We will come back for sure, hopefully for longer than this time.
