We were nicely received when we arrived by bike, it had been a long day. The lady went out of her way and cooked us a delicious dinner although the restaurant was closed. So kind and immensely appreciated!

We were recommended to stay at the 'Hotel zur Rose' by a friend who is an avid biker. We arrived with a car trailer and two motorbikes. There was ample parking available, and we could park our motorbikes in the garage at no extra cost. Our room was comfortable and had a nice bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. Although lunch is available at the hotel, we only dined there in the evenings. The food was delightful, showcasing many local specialities. If we visit the area again, we would definitely stay there once more.

I asked for a quiet room away from the traffic/road and had a lovely room with en suite bathroom. It was winter and lots of snow and I was glad to sleep in a comfortable bed. Hotel staff directed me to the only open restaurant in town that Sunday evening and it was truly good and authentic Sicilian Il Cavallino or something like that. The next morning I could resume my long road trip to Berlin by car.

Our one-night stay was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in Room Porto 11, which had a stunning view of Lake Constance, Lindau Island landmarks, and a beautiful sunny terrace. Watching the sunset from the exceptional room terrasse and relaxing there was truly unforgettable — we even got lucky and heard live music from the promenade downstairs. A magical experience! The location is simply unbeatable — everything is within walking distance: restaurants, cafés, attractions, boats, the promenade, shops, and the old town. Totally worth the price for the location alone. The room had a small fridge, and we were pleasantly surprised by a welcome drink and a birthday card upon arrival — such a thoughtful touch. The bed was large and very comfortable. We loved the little sitting area by the window, and the room also had a kettle, dishes, and a coffee machine. Self check-in was also super easy and convenient. We would gladly come back again — thank you so much for a fantastic stay!
