Bodenmais is a fantastic location, a bigger resort village but with absolute quiet day and night. At LuCA Hotel, which is under new management, there is swimming pool and sauna (though we didn’t use it). The front desk also gives out free passes to local attractions, for example the ski lift. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the restaurant, where a resident Italian chef makes very good homey and authentic Italian food. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable.

Hotel Kurpark is situated in Bodenmais, directly by the entrance to the spa gardens. The hotel offers a sauna and a garden, and free admission to the swimming pool 300 metres away.

The location is nice and close to lots of attractions (we had a car) The best thing was the Aktiv Card we got at the reception. with this, we got free access to a very nice indoor pool in walking distance as well as plenty attractions, museums and lots of amusement parks. This was a pleasant surprise. Will come back!
