So many things! Honestly can’t believe it’s only a 3 star as should be a 4 star. The pictures of the rooms don’t do it justice The family lodge was amazing so spacious and decor beautiful. The breakfast was great - all hot food options cooked when you order and a good selection. We also had lunch one day and all of the options we had tasted amazing Staff were so friendly The toiletries/towels/extras were so good and plenty of them not like other hotels we have stayed at. Amazing location literally 20-25 mins to snowdon

We weren't expecting much when we booked the place but it pleasantly surprised us! The rooms, though small, were quite cosy, clean and comfortable and had everything one could need for a comfortable stay. The view and the location is the most amazing part about it. Not too far from train station and city centre. The river flows right in front of it. I gave an 8 because there is no full time staff at the reception in case you need any urgent help. But, if I had to choose again, I would definitely go for it!
