Our welcome from Susan made us feel like we had arrived home. The room was fresh and spacious with a very comfy bed. They have a really beautiful bar downstairs where it would be lovely to relax in after a wet day hiking. You order your breakfast from a wide range the night before and it’s lovely to have everything brought to your table in the morning. There was a feeling of calm competence in this hotel and we would definitely return.

The hotel was located on the main street. There was free parking outside. The hotel was very clean and our room was a good size. The staff were so nice and helpful. We had a fantastic stay.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly which instantly made us feel at ease. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and the place was spotless! The food in the restaurant was outstanding along with the service.

The location was convenient and because of that I thought my room might be noisy but it was amazingly quiet by 9 pm . Our supper was very good and we really enjoyed the outdoor roofed terrace. Our rooms were lovely, small but with all the amenities and very stylish for such an old building. Character and style. Breakfast in the morning was terrific, best haggis ever!

Didn't have the continental breakfast. However the staff was eager to please everyone and helpful. We did have tea there and OMG...everything was perfect! Loved the location, very picturesque. Will definitely be there again..
