Great hotel! Very clean, and for its age, I would say its kept up. They have a great staff and their rooms are really good. I also appreciated the complimentary snacks. The location was perfect, its steps away from the train station, and its also in a busy area, but it was still quiet at night.

Lovely location and setting. The full English breakfast was adapted to meet our dietary needs. Be sure to ask for the homemade sourdough bread! The evening meal was amazing...we had both our dinners there. We were particulary impressed with the Leek and Potato Soup and warm bread. My steak was cooked to perfection. A fully delightful stay!
