This pioneering young couple have taken on a massive job of returning this establishment to its former beauty. Room by massive room it’s being restored and it’s going to be amazing when they finish. We absolutely loved our stay here. Carpets, paint and the bathroom for room 9 are all almost new. The staff are all so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed dinner in the bar and breakfast in the dining room.

The Breakfast was amazing! Every morning there was a variety of fruit beautifully displayed in a large glass, croissants were freshly baked if you wanted. A selection of cereals, yoghurt and if that wasn't enough you got a cooked breakfast with bacon and eggs, baked beans, toast, jams, and the best black pudding I have ever tasted!!! Keith was an amazing host, and he would always try to accommodate any request, very tasty meal!
