Everything about this place is perfect. Very nice room in a very nice "traditional" inn, in a very convenient location (if you're heading into or out of London). Breakfast is excellent. And all superb value for money.

With cosy log fires, a real ale pub and traditional restaurant, The Raven has refurbished rooms each featuring a flat-screen TV.

The staff where extremely helpful and friendly, I had real trouble with my car rental company and staff let me use the reception's phone for the entire day (anyone seeing this review please I strongly recommend DO NOT USE TURO) and the night shift reception guy Richard was a real life saver giving me a lift to a proper car rental company in the morning so I could get on with my holiday and even packed me a full lunch for the Goodwood festival of speed. The place itself was lovely, excellent breakfast with a wide variety of food to choose from, loved the pond they had with the ducks and deers, and they had a lovely pub at the property.

Easy late check-in around 11pm. Staff communicative over Booking.com message platform. It was exactly what we needed as we travelled through the country and needed a quick stop over. There are drinks and snacks available at the reception, which was handy because so late and with young kids we were too shattered to hit up the services next door.

On arrival I was made very welcome by the owners who were there to check me in, I was given all the information on meal time and everything else for my stay, I was shown to my room, handed the key and reminded if their is anything I need just let them know. The room was great and the bed was perfect, all the amenities where in the room, I was only there for the one night for work and the location was perfect for that. Many thanks to the owners for a great stay and I will be looking at staying here again.

We had a warm welcome at the reception desk. The room was sufficient. The breakfast is particularly good. The personel very kind. The menu for diner offered enough choice. I would sincerely recommend the Swann Inn if You go to Alton, Chawton, Winchester. A perfect place to be.
