I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cosy and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is perfect — close to shops, restaurants and public transport, yet quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh and varied. A pleasant, comfortable hotel with a warm atmosphere. I’d happily stay again.

The location is great, close to town and the lake. The host is very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is cooked to order and was all you need before your day hikes. Rooms were small, but very cosy and had everything you might need. Loved our stay!

Fantastic place. I reached early, and they were very kind to not only give me my room but also upgrade my room to a lake view room. Dale also helped me carry my luggage to the room. The room was warm , neat, and had very good linen. I was happy to sit by the lake and enjoyed the views.

    Great location, parking free (apartments only) just outside apartment. Easy to walk into Keswick in 15 mins. 2 bedroom apartment - 1 ensuite, other with toilet & sink. Adequate cooking facilities, comfortable & clean. Good price & availability for a last minute booking.

    Quaint accommodation with just what we needed & in a great location, within walking distance to city centre & nature walks. The view from our room overlooking the magnificent Lake District mountains was breathtaking (Room 10).

    In a wonderful location with lovely view of lake & mountains, this is a 1940;s 5 star hotel now probably rated 3 star. It needs some tlc on the decorating side. Other than that it was clean and tidy.The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was vrery good both cooked & cerials. We ate there one evening and again the food was excellent. The free Wi Fi was the fastest I have ever encountered. There is some roadside parking and a hotel car park that takes around 20 vehicles. We will stay there again

    Beautiful grounds, amazing views, great location. Cost of the apartment was cheap and suitable for our budget. Bedrooms were a decent size with comfortable big bed and bedding.
